Essential Research receives 6th Phase II SBIR award from NASA

Cleveland, OH (December 18, 2005)  … C. William King, Essential Research President and CEO, today announced the award of a $598,614 Phase II SBIR award from NASA for the development of a "High Efficiency Quantum Dot III-V Thermophotovoltaic Cell for Space Power". The project is anticipated to take up to 24 months to complete. The project is being monitored by personnel in the Photovoltaic Division of NASA Glenn Research Laboratory in Cleveland, Ohio.
